The morning and evening prayer, the litany, church catechism, family prayers, and several chapters of the Old and New-Testament, translated into the Kanien'kéha (Mohawk) language, by Lawrence Claesse, interpreter to William Andrews from the Honourable and Reverend the Society for the Propogation [sic] of the Gospel in Foreign Parts. This item was added as part of the Diversity and Collaborative Knowledge Program funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
