Math, Science, English Language Arts: Because gas prices are increasing all the time, some scientists are working to create alternatives to gasoline for cars. What are some of these alternative fuels? What is their fuel mileage? Compare their mileage to a regular gasoline-powered car. Create an advertising campaign publicizing the attributes of alternative-fueled cars. Write a persuasive speech about them and present the speech to your class.
