Suggested Teaching Instructions

Learning Activity #1

Set up centers using the documents from the Children Working activity. 

Ask students to rotate through the centers and analyze the documents.

After they complete the centers, students should be able to answer the essential question using evidence from the documents anlaysis.

 

Learning Activity #2

Students analyze 3 of the documents from Children Working activity. 

Using evidence from documents, students write a journal entry from the perspective of a child laborer.
