Description
"The Appropriation Pie", a political cartoon distributed by the American Union Against Militarism, originally printed on December 11, 1920. In addition to the cartoon is an analysis of U.S. appropriations in 1920 by Dr. Edward B. Rosa of the U.S. Bureau of Standards. This showed the cutting of the "pie" and asked whether the cutting was fair. Those opposed to how it was distributed, it said, should contact Congressman Franklin Mondell.
