Description
The burned remains of the Labado village in the Nyala Province of South Darfur during the Darfur Genocide (2003-2005). This photograph was taken by Brian Steidle, a former marine who became a patrol leader in Sudan for the Joint Military Mission monitoring the ceasefire between North and South Sudan.
