Description
One of the images US Ambassador to the UN Madeleine Albright presented to the UN Security Council as evidence of human rights violations in August 1995. As a result, the international community started to put together the pieces about the fate of nearly 8,000 men and boys massacred in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina beginning on July 11, 1995. The image shows a convoy of white buses traveling to and from a football [soccer] field, where groups of captured individuals are assembled.
