Description
Formerly incarcerated individuals of the "little camp" in Buchenwald concentration camp stare out from the wooden bunks in which they slept three to a "bed." The camp was liberated just days before this picture was taken in April 1945. Elie Wiesel, author of "Night," is pictured in the second row of bunks, seventh from the left, next to the vertical beam.
