Front page of "Wahrheit und Recht! 'Schwarz-Grün'. Internes Informationsblatt der Konzentrationäre Deutschlands der Schwarzen und Grünen" [Truth and Justice! 'Black-Green': Internal Information Bulletin of Former Concentration Camp Prisoners with the Black or Green Triangle in Germany] by Georg Tauber and Karl Jochheim-Armin. This is the first of three monthly bulletins published from May to July 1946 by "Die Vergessenen" [The Forgotten Ones], an organization created in Munich by survivors of Dachau concentration camp, which was designed to bring attention to people who had been persecuted as "asocials" and "career criminals" during the Holocaust (included in these titles were beggars, alcoholics, drug addicts, prostitutes, pacifists, the "work-shy" and occasionally queer people, Roma, Sinti, and other social outcasts). These groups, who the Nazis forced to wear black and green triangles respectively, were frequently either ignored or actively disliked by the general public and fellow Holocaust survivors. This organization, which hoped to build a sense of solidarity, was promptly stamped out by the US military administration, as many people continued to believe that the persecution of "asocials" and "career criminals" had been justified.
