Illustration of Jews being burned alive, from "The Nuremberg Chronicle" also known as "Liber chronicarum" written by Hartmann Schedel, illustrated by Wilhelm Pleydenwurff and Michael Wolgemut. This burning in was done as punishment for an alleged host desecration in Deggendorf, Bavaria in the 1330s.
