The sixth of seven leaflets written by the anti-Nazi, intellectual resistance group, the White Rose [Weiße Rose] which operated from 1942 to 1943. In this leaflet, Professor Kurt Huber drew on the overwhelming grief following the defeat at Stalingrad in an attempt to stir patriotic feelings that superseded National Socialism.
