The Île de France was a famous French luxury ocean liner that was operational from 1927 to 1959. Featured among the passengers are Polish Jewish Holocaust survivors, Moszek [Morris] and Frymeta [Frieda] Cymerman [Zimmerman], who took this voyage in hopes of creating a new life in America after the hardships they endured in Europe.
