"Please, Ring the Bell for Us," a political cartoon, created by Francis Knott for the "Dallas Morning News," which accompanied an editorial that described admitting refugee children to the United States as an “act of simple humanity." This cartoon was created in the period between Kristallnacht and the Holocaust which saw many Jewish people flee Europe in hopes of escaping the rising tide of antisemitism.
