Learning Activities

After reading the narrative about one of the eight genocides, students will complete a series of activities, including the examination of primary source documents, maps of the country, photographs and videos, and how the “genocide” matches the 10 stages of genocide, academic tool and a policy model which was created by Gregory Stanton. A template for a detailed study and analysis of a genocide is also provided.
