Liberation Magazine Headline

William Dudley Pelley (1890 –1965) was an American fascist activist and journalist, noted for his support of Adolf Hitler during the Great Depression and World War II. He founded the Silver Legion (headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina), an antisemitic organization whose members, known as Silver Shirts and Christian Patriots, wore Nazi-style silver uniform shirts. Liberation was just one of several magazines and newspapers Pelley published in the United States.
